Senate Bill 145, as introduced by CA State Senator Scott Wiener (D-San Francisco) (pictured below, center)
amends previous legislation that requires all sex offenders to register with their local law enforcement agency. The introductory portion of the Bill reads as follows:
"SB 145, as amended, Wiener. Sex offenders: registration.
"Existing law, the Sex Offender Registration Act, requires a person convicted of one of certain crimes, as specified, to register with law enforcement as a sex offender while residing in California or while attending school or working in California, as specified. A willful failure to register, as required by the act, is a misdemeanor or felony, depending on the underlying offense.
"This bill would exempt from mandatory registration under the act a person convicted of certain offenses involving minors if the person is not more than 10 years older than the minor and if that offense is the only one requiring the person to register." (emphasis added)

According to the Bill, an eighteen-year-old man could sexually molest an eight-year-old child and not have to register as a sex offender. It also appears that the Bill goes further by striking previously written language requiring all sex offenders convicted of a felony to wear a GPS tracking device.
This horrific piece of legislation puts at great risk the most vulnerable members of our society. Now a convicted pedophile can live within a community, and the residents of that neighborhood will have no idea that a monster walks among them. These predators are now free to stalk children at schools and playgrounds since GPS monitoring is no longer in place.
It seems as if at every turn Democrat legislators from across the nation are purposely destroying the fabric of our society. Whether it be a law that reduces assaulting a police officer to a misdemeanor, as was recently passed by the Virginia State Senate, or the decriminalization of drug possession in California that has resulted in an explosion of intravenous drug use on the streets of San Francisco, Democrat lawmakers seem hell-bent on reducing our country to a third-world rat-hole.
How much more will their constituents put up with? When will the good citizens of the United States stand up and say, "Enough is enough!"? What will it take for these horrible people be driven from office and given the prison sentences they so rightly deserve?
A step in the right direction can be made this November by getting out and voting. We must bring an end to the increasing homelessness in Democrat-controlled cities, the lawlessness that has resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars in damage to businesses in cities like Portland, New York and Chicago, and the mob rule that has brought nothing but pain and loss to the residents of these once great cities.
As for now, the best we can do is keep a close eye on our children. It is also strongly encouraged to purchase a firearm and be trained in its use. With increasing calls to defund the police, it may soon be up to ourselves to come to our own defense. These demons posing as Democrats will stop at nothing to take from us everything that we hold dear, including our lives and the lives of those that we love.
